The Story of Villa Mori

Villa Mori was built in the early 1960's and was purchased by the Mori family in 2017. The Villa's unique coastal architecture stands out against the green backdrop of Levanto's Monte delle Forche.

The large marble wall at the entrance is made of local green Serpentine and red Porfido marble. Porfido marble has been used in many places of historical significance such as Saint Peter's Basilica and the Senate chambers of the US Capitol Building.

The circular relief on the front wall depicts St. George and the dragon. It was purchased in Naples by the family that constructed the house.

The Villa has a large garden open to the use of our guests, and you will find yourself surrounded by roses and fruit trees such as lemons, loquats, and figs.
